Abulia en trabajadores mexicanos

Abstract

La Real Academia Española define a la Abulia como pasividad, desinterés, falta de voluntad y está conformada por Comportamiento Organizacional Ciudadano (COC) y Renuncia Psicológica; los objetivos del estudio son identificar las causas asociadas con la Abulia que trabajadores manifiestan en el contexto organizacional y de probar un modelo de COC; por lo cual se llevó a cabo un estudio cuantitativo a fin de determinar si la Satisfacción en el Trabajo es antecedente del COC y si la Renuncia Psicológica y el Bienestar Emocional son consecuencias del COC, en una muestra de 227 empleados que trabajan para seis organizaciones diferentes en la zona metropolitana de la ciudad de México. Mediante la aplicación de cuestionarios y un análisis de modelamiento de ecuaciones estructurales LISREL, se comprobó la validez del modelo teórico. Las personas satisfechas con su trabajo responden favorablemente como buenos compañeros de trabajo, y en consecuencia no evitan el trabajo y reportan un nivel superior de salud y bienestar.
