Potencialidad del Turismo Industrial. Estudio de Caso

Abstract

El objetivo principal de este trabajo de investigación es examinar el potencial de la Comunidad de Madrid (España) como destino turístico industrial. La metodología se basa en un análisis descriptivo con el que se pretende establecer, por un lado, si Madrid cuenta con los recursos industriales necesarios y cuál es el estado de conservación de los mismos, así como, conocer las iniciativas puestas en marcha para posicionarse dentro de esta tipología de turismo. Por otro lado, se estudia el perfil del turista potencial de esta oferta de turismo en dicha Comunidad Autónoma. La información recopilada permite concluir que la Comunidad de Madrid cuenta con el potencial necesario para desarrollarse como destino turístico industrial, ya que dispone de numerosos recursos industriales y una demanda actual creciente de visitantes interesados en esta nueva tendencia del turismo.
