Abstract

Este documento reflexiona sobre un tema-problema que nos convoca en el contexto del presente-futuro de la ya problemática educación contable en Colombia y en América Latina. Desde la perspectiva de este documento la contaduría pública constituiría, según el título de este trabajo, una suerte de equivocación histórica y una de las grandes calamidades académico-existenciales en especial para el autor de esta reflexión. En contravía de esta errática inferencia lo que el trabajo pretende es llamar la atención acerca de la problemática que le asiste a la educación contable en tanto ha consagrado esfuerzos institucionales en favor de la profesionalización, soslayando la necesidad de instalar y fortalecer procesos de formación, entendida ésta como concepto asociado a la formación crítica del sujeto y desde una cultura estética y ética, o como un «concepto íntimamente ligado con el sujeto, el hombre y la subjetividad».
