Basics And Significance Of Consensus Theory

Author

Listed:
  • Mimo Draskovic

Abstract

This article will try to explain the substance of consensus theory, its characteristics and significance for economic theory, since the French conventionalists formulated it as an alternative not only to neoclassical theory of rationality and relevant mythological individualism but also to institutional determinism. Author of this article a) examines specific interpretation of norms of behaviour of representatives of the theory, through the prism of realistic existence of numerous forms of coordination and conventions and b) tries to fill in the incomplete matrix of institutional subsystems with his own logical categories.
