Göç ve hayatta kalma mücadelesi: İstanbul'da Azerbaycanlı kadın göçmenlerin hayatta kalma mücadelesi ve endüstriyel üretim

Abstract

Son yıllarda Türkiye, Azerbaycan'dan gelen düzensiz göçmenler için cazip bir ülke haline gelmiştir. Her yıl neredeyse yarım milyon Azeri farklı nedenlerle Türkiye'ye gelmektedir. Fakat bu gelenlerin çoğu Türkiye'nin geniş enformel ekonomisinde istihdam imkanları aramaktadır. Bu açıdan, Türk etnik kökenin-den gelmeyen hemen hemen tüm göçmeleri dışlama anlayışı üzerine kurulmuş göç rejiminde varolabilmek için geliştirilen yaşam mücadelesi yöntemleri, aile göçü, yaşam maliyetlerinin minimize edilmesi ve aile gelirinin maksimize edil-mesidir. Bu yazının amacı, Azerbaycanlı göçmenlerin yaşam ya da ayakta kalma stratejilerini ele alarak varolan literatüre katkı yapmak ve Azerilerin bu strateji-lerinin Türkiye'nin en başarılı ihracat sektörlerinden birini yaratmak için katkı sağladığını göstermektedir.
