Abstract

Göç, sinemanın her zaman ilgilendiği konulardan biri olagelmiştir. Dünyanın içinden geçtiği tüm toplumsal meselelerde olduğu gibi, yaşanan göçlerin yol açtığı toplumsal değişimler de bireysel hikâyelerle birlikte sinemaya yansımaya devam etmektedir. Göç olgusu; iç göç, ulusötesi göçmenlik, mültecilik, işçi göçü, mübadele, vatan hasreti, gurbet, eve dönüş gibi konularla kurmaca ve belgesel sinemada geniş yer bulmuştur. Yeni kıtaların keşfiyle birlikte göç etmeye başlayan toplulukların hikayeleri sinemaya konu olmaya başlamıştır. Sanayi Devrimi sonrasındaki kentleşme hareketleriyle birlikte artık anlatının ayrılmaz bir parçası haline gelen göç olgusu, bu toplumsal değişimlerin yanı sıra savaşlar, politik veya etnik çatışmalar, iş-geçim kaynağı, yeni yaşam arayışları, iklim değişiklikleri-kuraklık-kıtlık gibi doğa kaynaklı yoksunluklar, eğitim ya da günümüzde küreselleşme ile birlikte önemli sayılara ulaşan nitelikli göçmenlik sinemanın ilgilendiği alanlardır.
