Cserdi, az innovatív cigányfalu

Abstract

Egyre több roma származású politikust, közszereplőt, szakembert ismerhettünk meg az elmúlt évtizedekben, akik felvállalva egyfajta aktivista szerepet lendítettek a cigányság helyzetén. Ilyen szereplőként robban be a köztudatba a cserdi polgármester Bogdán László is, aki helyi fiatalokat visz a börtönbe elrettentés céljából, miközben a társadalom egy része háborog ezen. Ugyanez a polgármester a kreatív közmunkával megszünteti a szegénységet a falujában, azzal, hogy helyi „biogazdaságot” hoz létre. Mára már a kis falu évente több tonna ingyen zöldséget adományoz a rászorulóknak, azzal a célzattal, hogy leépítsék a romákról kialakult negatív sztereotípiákat.
