AbstractTrade wars have erupted in many places in recent years over the purchase of farm products and continue in full strength. The major battlefields have been provinces and regions that are chief producers of farm products and are economically relatively backward. This article dissects the situation in one province, Anhui, in order to give insight into the problems involved.
