Abstract

After adopting and publishing the normative acts in the Official Journal of Romania, there are some changes that may appear due to the mutations in the social, economical, political or cultural environment, and these are: modification, completion, abrogation, suspending, derogation, republication or rectification of the normative acts. The aim of our paper is to present the peculiarities of two of these events or legislative interventions that may appear in the normative acts, meaning republication and rectification. Republication means a new publication of a normative act (a law, a Government ordinance, a Government decision) that in the meantime has been modified or completed having as aim the integrality in one act of the regulation on which they operated through some other acts, some modifications or completions of the texts while rectification is an official legal operation through which a material error is corrected in a normative act, error that has been observed after the publishing in the Official Journal of Romania.
