Abstract

Children's rights are a real concern worldwide. The present study presents the modalities and normative acts issued at European level that aims to defend and respect these rights, and especially in the case of criminal proceedings, in the plan of the law of the European Union, as well as at the level of the law of the Council of Europe. In the end of the study there are presented the author’s conclusions, shaped following to studying the concerns on the protection of the children’s rights existing at European level within penal proceedings.
