Abstract

This paper applies a simulation model for the export of Indonesian natural rubber. As the second biggest exporter of natural rubber in the world, Indonesia is eager to know the market dynamic of this commodity. The paper shows that changing in the price of and the demand for natural rubber in USA will cause a significant effect to Indonesian export. Like wise, rising in factor price will decrease the demand for this commodity. It is also shown that devaluation and reduction in export tax have a positive effect on export.
