Abstract

The willingness to venture into corporate social responsibility involves working with stakeholders to different organizations and include it in their management as a fundamental part of decision making. In Ecuador, the relationships present in the hotel sector of category two and three stars of the special tourist zones of the city of Quito with regard to the IPs are unknown by the majority of their administrators, neglecting the strategic importance they have. Consequently the research faces the problem of how IPs can be identified and what are the main relationships with organizations. The general objective of the research is to identify the PIs of the hotels category one and two stars in the ZETQ, in order to characterize them, determining the different relationships with the organizations. The research will be exploratory-descriptive, using the Mitchell, Agle and Wood model, which determines the establishment of influences of IPs in the organization, based on the existence of relationships between the different actors. The characteristics of power, legitimacy and urgency attributes present in hotels will be determined.
