Abstract

A tanulmány célja, hogy bemutassa a magyar áramtermelő piac piachatalmi problémái statikus Cournot-modellel való elemezhetőségének a korlátait. A szerző kevésbé kritikai, mint inkább figyelemfelhívónak szánja gondolatait, abból a szempontból, hogy a közgazdasági elemzések a valóságot néha túlzóan leegyszerűsítő modelljei és az azokból nyert eredmények milyen mértékben jelenthetnek gyakorlati hasznot a szabályozási környezet hatékony kialakítása céljából. Az írás - amely a Paizs-Mészáros [2003] tanulmány nyomán készült - nem arra helyezi a hangsúlyt, hogy megkérdőjelezze a két kutató által használt elemzési módszer és az azokból nyert eredmények helyességét, hanem sokkal inkább arra, hogy bemutassa a valóságot leegyszerűsítő modellfeltevésekből eredő eredménytorzulások lehetőségét.
