Abstract

In Romania there are some hardships and obstacles in the field of tourism. There have been and there are people who are dedicated to the development of this branch of the national economy, which have worked and developed the "Master Plan for the development of national tourism 2007-2026". This long-term plan should lead to a sustainable development of tourism in accordance with European standards.
