Efficiency Of Investments In The Shares Of The Polish Energy Sector Companies Against The Backdrop Of The World Stock Market Indexes

Abstract

The present article is to assess the effectiveness of investments in the shares of the Polish energy sector. The tools used are rates of return and risk-sensitive profitability measures based on the Capital Asset Pricing Model - CAMP. The analysis is a statistical assessment of the assets management quality in relation to the results of the world stock market indexes under various market conditions. The results of the study show that regardless of the changing market conditions, the effectiveness of investing in the shares of the Polish energy sector in the analyzed period remained close the market portfolio results.
