Abstract

Los seguros en la agricultura son un instrumento de suma importancia, ya que es una de las actividades con mayor riesgo ante los desastres naturales. En el presente trabajo se diseñó un modelo de seguro agrícola atractivo de manera que estabilice los ingresos de los pequeños productores, incorporando tanto al sector público como al privado, para que los pequeños productores compitan en el exterior. Analizando los rendimientos en el cultivo de maíz en el Distrito de Desarrollo Rural (DDR) de Guasave en tres diferentes escenarios (riego: otoño-invierno, temporal otoño-invierno y riego: primavera-perano)./ Insurance in agriculture is an extremely important instrument, since it is one of the activities most at risk from natural disasters. In the present work, an attractive agricultural insurance model was designed so as to stabilize the incomes of small producers, incorporating both the public and private sectors, so that small producers compete abroad. Analyzing maize yields in Guasave DDR in three different scenarios (Autumn-Winter, irrigation; Fall-Winter, temporary and Spring-Summer, irrigation).Classification-JEL: G13, R11.
