Abstract

Environmental issues have become integral factors in any decision-making process in the design and implementation of goods and services. Yet, to achieve the overall goal of sustainability, a service should also offer alternatives that are competitive with, if not superior to, its conventional tangible or intangible counterparts and that reduce the use of natural resources or cut or eliminate emissions and wastes (i.e., clean services—CleanServs).
