Abstract

It would be very unfortunate if the readers of Operations Research were to judge the state of the art in systems analyses of aircraft bombing systems from Precoda's paper on “Air Weapons Systems Analyses” [ Opns. Res. 4 , 684--698 (December 1956)]. The author is perhaps forced to appear somewhat naive by reason of writing on a subject for which the extensive literature and methodology appear in classified reports.
