Cycle Times in Two-Stage Closed Queueing Networks: Applications to Multiprogrammed Computer Systems with Virtual Memory

Abstract

We compute the distribution of the time for a sequence of successive cycles in a two-stage exponential queue which represents a multiprogrammed computer system.
