Abstract

In this series of articles I have attempted to address the problem of successful implementation of management science studies. In my last column, appearing in the November 1971 issue, I developed the thesis that management has generally recognized the need to know more about management science and evidenced this need by sponsoring and attending educational sessions in the management sciences which were directed primarily toward managerial needs. The seminars stressed the concepts of management science and illustrated how these concepts are applied to real decision problems.
