Abstract

Gambling activities in Atlantic City have been tremendously successful; yet there is room for improvement in current planning. An effort to allocate floor space to slot machines at the Sands Hotel and Casino combines management intuition with quantitative modeling in a deterministic simulation model used in tandem with empirical data to evaluate policy
