Abstract

It has happened as I (Barnett) had hoped: I have begun hearing from readers, and their remarks are not uniformly critical. Rather, some wish to discuss what they perceive as misapplications in the newspapers, professional journals, or their own encounters. It is a pleasure to devote this column to two recent communications, one concerning an article that appeared here in Interfaces , and the other about some evidence that was used in the Hinckley trial.
