Abstract

The area of marketing offers a wide range of potential applications of MS/OR methods. Literally hundreds (perhaps even thousands!) of real-world, managerially-relevant problems in contemporary marketing beg for attention from properly applied technology. My task as Functional Editor in Marketing will be to identify and, in some cases, seek out the most interesting, high quality, and useful MS/OR applications for publication in Interfaces .
