Characteristics: Understanding Differing Views of Relative Importance

Abstract

When discussing implementation of models in general, it is often implicitly assumed that the participants have similar views on the importance of different characteristics of the model. In an attempt to apply a new method of analyzing dominance to the problem of determining the size of weekly magazine editions, four persons at different organizational levels participated from the publishing company. The fact that the participants had different views should have interesting implications for both actual real-life implementation attempts and more principal discussions of implementation problems.
