The use of Earth Observation data in preventing and overcoming the environmental risk

Abstract

In recent years, the various methods of combining and exploring the Earth observation data provided valuable information for monitoring and evaluating both the natural environment, but also the anthropic one. In this paper, we focus on digital elevation modeling using SAR images and the opportunities they provide to improve the economic life of the society
