Competencia, Eficiencia y Estabilidad Financiera en el Sector Bancario Mexicano

Abstract

Este trabajo tiene dos objetivos: el primero es evaluar el impacto de la competencia en la estabilidad del sector bancario mexicano, así mismo se busca evaluar el impacto de la eficiencia en la estabilidad. Se utilizó un período de tiempo que abarca del an ?o 2001 al 2012. Para medir la competencia se estimo ? el índice de Lerner. En la evaluación de la eficiencia se utilizaron dos medidas diferentes: el índice de Boone y la eficiencia técnica. Por último para medir la estabilidad se empleó el resultado z.
