Türkiye’de kredi arzı: Kredi eğilim anketi göstergeleri kredi büyümesi ve ekonomik faaliyet için bilgi verici mi?

Abstract

Bu çalısma, Türkiye Cumhuriyet Merkez Bankası Kredi Eğilim Anketi’nin kredi büyümesi ve ekonomik faaliyete iliskin bilgi içeriğini analiz etmek açısından ilk olma özelliği tasımaktadır. Çalısmada borç verme ve borç alma istekliliğinin para politikası ile bağlantısı anketten elde edilen bulgular çerçevesinde incelenmistir. Sonuçlar kredi arzının sonraki döneme iliskin kredi büyümesi üzerinde rol oynadığını göstermektedir. Buna ek olarak, kredi arzına iliskin göstergelerin sonraki döneme iliskin ekonomik aktivite üzerinde de tahmin edici gücü olduğu gözlenmektedir. Ayrıca, bankaların bilanço kısıtlarının eğilimi ile borçluların durumlarının para politikası değisimlerine duyarlı bulunması banka borç verme ve bilanço kanallarının etkinliğine iliskin deliller ortaya koymaktadır.
