Abstract

1980’li yıllarda yaygınlaşmaya başlayan Toplam Kalite ve Süreçlerin Yeniden Yapılandırılması (Değişim Mühendisliği) gibi uygulamalar organizasyonların öğrenme süreci içerisine girmesini sağlamıştır. Öte yandan 1990’lı yıllarda Sengenin ortaya koyduğu “Öğrenen Organizasyon” yaklaşımı, organizasyonlarda öğrenmenin önemini daha da çoğaltmıştır. Bilgi toplumunun bir gereği olarak, öğrenen organizasyonlarda, organizasyonu bir arada tutan, bilgiyi bireylerin tekelinden çıkarıp ondan işletmenin ortak varlığı olarak yararlanmak gerekmektedir. Bunu sağlayabilmenin başlangıç noktası da vizyon paylaşımıdır. Paylaşılan vizyonlar öğrenen organizasyonlar için yaşamsal önem taşırlar. Çünkü öğrenme için gerekli odaklaşma ve enerjiyi sağlarlar. Ancak bu vizyonlar, işletme yöneticisinin/yöneticilerinin organizasyona empoze ettiği kendi vizyonları yerine, çalışanların bireysel vizyonlarıyla örtüşmelidir.
