Satın Alma Gücü Paritesi Ve Birlikte Bütünleşme Tükiye Ve Ana Ticaret Ortakları Uygulaması

Abstract

Bu çalışma Satın Alma Gücü Paritesi (SAGP) kuramını Türkiye ile en yüksek dış ticaret hacmine sahip beş ülke (ABD, Almanya, Fransa, Italya ve Ingiltere) için 1969-1996 dönemi için test etmek amacındadır. Yöntem olarak birim kök (unit root) ve birlikte bütünleşme (cointegration) kullanılmıştır. Uygulama sonuçları 1969-1996 döneminde, SAGP kuramının Türkiye ile Almanya ve Fransa arasında geçerli olduğunu ortaya koyarken, ABD, Italya ve Ingiltere için geçerli olmadığını belirlemiştir. Daha sonra çalışma dönemi 1980-Ocak öncesi ve sonrası olarak iki kısma ayrılmış ve SAGP kuramı bu alt-dönemler itibariyle test edilmiştir. Sonuçlar, bu kuramın alt dönemlerde hiçbir ülke için geçerli olmadığını ortaya koymuştur. Genel olarak, bu sonuçlar SAGP kuramının Türkiye ve adı geçen ülkeler için uzun dönemde geçerli olduğunu ortaya koyarken, bu kuramın daha çok uzun dönemlerde geçerli olduğu yönündeki uluslararası çalışmaları desteklemektedir.
