Afghanistan - the current security situation

In the current geopolitical context Afghanistan is under the influence of the great powers: Russia to the north, Pakistan and China to the east, India to south-south-east, Iran to south-south-west and to west Europe and further to west is USA. Each has its own interests regarding Afghanistan, which are divergent both among themselves, and especially between them and those of Afghanistan. The major interest in the problem of Afghanistan is that for each of these states to retain in a form or another, the influence in the region. The end of 2014 means the withdrawal of international forces of security and a new beginning for Afghanistan. Completing the transition of security responsibility to Afghan security forces will be for the new authorities in Kabul a blessing and a curse. Many of the problems during Taliban rule remained and new ones emerged during Karzai 's government and the presence of foreign troops in Afghanistan and will surely arise after the withdrawal of these troops and others.
