Abstract

Fernando H. Navajas nació en La Plata, el 21 de enero de 1955. Se recibió de licenciado en economía en la Universidad Nacional de La Plata, en 1978, completando sus estudios en Oxford, Inglaterra, donde se doctoró en el año 1985. Desde noviembre de 2016 preside la Asociación Argentina de Economía Política (AAEP). Profesor en las universidades Nacional de La Plata y de Buenos Aires, entre 1986 y 1994 trabajó en la oficina de Buenos Aires de la Comisión Económica para América Latina y el Caribe (CEPAL), y a partir de 1994 en la Fundación de Investigaciones Económicas Latinoamericanas (FIEL). Navajas was born in La Plata, on 21 January 1955. He received a degree in economics at the Universidad Nacional de La Plata in 1978, completing his studies in Oxford, England, where he received his doctorate in 1985. Since November 2016 chairs the Asociación Argentina de Economía Política (AAEP). Professor at the Universidad Nacional de La Plata and Universidad de Buenos Aires, between 1986 and 1994 worked in the Buenos Aires office of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), and from 1994 at the Fundación de Investigaciones Económicas Latinoamericanas (FIEL).
