Abstract

At individual level losing a job is a catastrophe, and the uncertainties associated with the technological change, and the globalization of the economy, causes personal tensions. Nevertheless I am optimist, when the issue is correctly approached. Both in Argentina, and in the world, more people work today than 50 or 100 years ago. The key lies in accepting the inevitable changes and deciding accordingly. In school students have to learn to think, much more than adquire technical abilities.
