Índices de precios hedónicos para ordenadores personales en España

Abstract

En este artículo se estiman regresiones hedónicas y se construyen los correspondientes índices hedónicos de precios para ordenadores de sobremesa y portátiles vendidos en España durante la década de los años 90. Los resultados indican que estos índices de precios muestran reducciones de precios muy notables, del 38 por 100 en media anual entre 1990 y 2000, habiéndose intensificado las caídas en la segunda mitad de la década. Al comparar esta evolución con la serie del IPC de ordenadores se estima anualmente un sesgo de calidad de 26 puntos porcentuales durante el período 1992-2000. (Copyright: Fundación SEPI)
