Abstract

Increasing environmental consciousness has contributed to market demand for green products by consumer. This dynamic is changing the trend from traditional manufacturing to green manufacturing practises. The aim of the paper is to identify various factors that measure the attitude of Indian small and medium-sized enterprises towards green manufacturing practises. To this end, the survey form was used and data was collected online and offline. A critical factor analysis approach may help to explain the factors influencing attitudes towards green manufacturing practises in the study of standard factors. The factors influencing the attitude of Indian SMEs towards green manufacturing practises are energy efficiency, water conservation, green action, waste management and government initiatives and support. The results of this study provide valuable insights into green production for performance measures in Indian SMEs. The findings indicators provided in this study help the decision-makers to determine the perception of their company towards the green production activities.
