Abstract

The fourth programming document for Greece through the years 2007-2013 includes five Regional Operational Programmes (ROPs). One of them is the ROP of Macedonia - Thrace. The priority axis seven description is 'sustainable development and quality of life in the Central Macedonia Region' and one of its goals is the construction and renewal of school buildings in the Region of Central Macedonia. The current evaluation system is briefly presented in this paper. What is attempted next is the order of importance of the criteria under question, according to the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) method demands, and the possibility of ranking the actions as a result of the method implementation. In this paper, we use the Expert Choice software, to study the effects in the final score which will bring the indifferences between the evaluation criteria. The whole approach aims at the optimisation of any single project selection's method.
