Abstract

While designing IT strategy, business alignment becomes the top priority, as a result of which many times we forget the needs and objectives of stakeholders. While in some models external stakeholders are prioritised in other internal stakeholders are taken into consideration. The authors proposed a holistic approach by considering all stakeholders along with models derived from the existing models of IT strategy implementation/evaluation that are available in the literature. The proposed model also considers big data analytics and cloud strategies. The model has been validated in the media sector (news agency) and the results obtained have shown business benefits while accomplishing stakeholder's objectives.
