Abstract

With the current times of high uncertainty, especially in the new normal era, organisations are putting their best foot forward to retain their existing market share and capture new territories. Supply chain performance is playing a critical role and is becoming a key component in creating additional value to the organisation, especially in the current era of globalisation. This study reflects the role of supply chain performance on global value creation, where leading e-commerce sites are considered based on supply chain performance. The partial least square-structural modelling was used to test the proposed framework. Factors like 'supply chain flexibility', 'risk management capabilities', and 'customer relationship management' emerged to be the most important and crucial ones. Further studies have been conducted involving various sectors by considering the different states of affairs of particular times.
