Abstract

Green computing is a kind of field of study, research responsible for designing and development of computing devices and system based on less power management principle. It is a kind of eco-friendly platform as well as architecture making. Green computing ultimately reduces less harmful chemical, CO2 including more harmful gas like CFC. As computer deals with various kind of chemicals therefore not only in designing rather its practice also should considered as important, and in this paper, potentialities of green informatics in techno, managerial context have been depicted. The paper highlights the available program on green computing and allied areas with a focus on designing green computing academic programs in different levels with focus on proposed MTech in Indian context in the line of international educational systems. The work is policy-based and limited to MTech only, thus for other potential programs, case to case basis may also designed and proposed.
