Why organisational commitment matters: review from the perspective of leadership style, organisational politics and role stressor

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to present a review to understand the relationship between organisational commitment dimension and several outcome variables such as leadership styles, organisational politics and role of stressor. Content analysis was employed as the methodology in this study. This review briefly discussed the three component models of organisational commitment and the dimension of three component models. The review also provided literature review on leadership styles, organisational politics and role of stressor. This study was limited to features over which researchers have a reasonable amount of control.
