Abstract

This study investigates the outsourcing and production scheduling technology adoption in Taiwan using an empirical approach. Different outsourcing and production scheduling technology adoption are investigated through questionnaires. We found that flexible capability influences customer and supplier satisfaction as well as good performance within the supply chain. The strategy with medium outsourcing rate is more flexible in product and process change. These findings give managerial insights to outsourcing and production scheduling technology adoption.
