La Comunicación Ecológica En España. Un Análisis De Su Uso En Los Envases De Consumo /

Abstract

La creciente preocupación social por el deterioro del medio ambiente ha provocado que, en la última década, las empresas hayan comenzado a utilizar mensajes ecológicos en su comunicación comercial. Pero, al mismo tiempo, han surgido diversas voces llamando la atención sobre el abuso cometido por muchas de estas empresas y sobre la necesidad de un control razonable de la comunicación ecológica. Partiendo de este contexto, el presente trabajo pretende, inicialmente, cuantificar la proliferación de declaraciones medioambientales en los envases de consumo utilizados en el mercado español. Posteriormente, se propone una clasificación de la calidad de estas declaraciones para, finalmente, evaluar en qué grado cumplen los requisitos establecidos por uno de los códigos voluntarios de autorregulación de la comunicación ecológica existentes: la norma internacional ISO 14021. / During last decade, social worry and awareness for the environment have generated companies begining lo use green clairns in their marketing communications. But, al the same time, some organizations attract attention about companies take unfair adventage of this worry and about the need to establish a green claims control. First, this paper try to measure the green claims proliferation on packaging in the spanish market. Then, we propose a classification for green claims quality and according with it, finally, evaluate how these clairns carry out the requeriments of the ISO 14021, an international guide for the use of environmental marketing claims.
