Abstract

En marketing han sido múltiples los autores que han analizado las referencias bibliográficas aparecidas en diferentes publicaciones de nuestra disciplina, ya que esta se caracteriza por poseer unos niveles importantes de citación en sus trabajos. En este trabajo, se realiza un análisis empírico de los trabajos incluidos en las Actas de los congresos de la European Marketing Association Conference (EMAC) en el período 1995-2000. En este análisis, contrastamos la evolución temporal del número de referencias, la antigüedad de las mismas, cómo se relaciona la citación en función del tipo de trabajo presentado y la procedencia de dichas referencias. / In marketing there are several studies of citation analysis appeared in different publications of our discipline, because marketing is a social discipline characterized to have some important levels of citation in its works. We present an empiric analysis of the works presented in the European Marketing Association Conference (EMAC) during 1995-2000. We examine multiple aspects of references, like its temporary evolution, antique character and the presence of citations in function ofthe type of presented work, reference diversity and which disciplines are those that are more present in marketing research.
