Abstract

Day after day, the permanence challenge within companies grows as their competitive demands grow. Establishing strategic alliances between organizations, is an alternative to achieve success together. In recent years, this strategy has been used in nonprofit organizations. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing if transparency practice in nonprofit organizations in the Centre Region of the State of Coahuila has major influence in establishing strategic alliances with other organizations in the provision of social services. We hope to provide managers reinforcement alternatives or improvement in the practice of strategic alliances. The methodology used was to obtain quantitative information from 25 organizations of this type located in the central region of the state of Coahuila through a structured Likert scale questionnaire using two variables: Transparency and strategic alliances. To measure their reliability, the Cronbach alpha test was used, yielding an internal consistency coefficient of .908 and .977 respectively indicating both to be reliable
