Abstract

This work includes an investigation aimed at analyzing contingency factors such as the professionalization process, selection, leadership, training and organizational culture to determine factors that affect professionalization of family companies in Tijuana, BC Mexico. It is important that management of entire organization achieve professionalism as practically is achieved through hiring managers from outside the family. To measure levels of professionalization we examine the size of the company, number of employees, age, sex, and college sector. Statistical analysis of the data were conducted.
