Abstract

This research shows the results of a study of The Continue Education Management in Higher Education Institutions affiliates to the Asociación Mexicana de Educación Continua y a Distancia (AMECYD). The purpose of this effort was identify variables that have influence in the management success of this education modality. A documental and field research was done to identify the state of art of de Continue Education Management in the Institutions identified. Then, the instruments were applied to 22 Institutions using and multivariate techniques were applied. Cronbach’s Alpha and the Pearson Test were applied. Results highlight correlations that exist between the actions of competition analysis, marketing tools, the existence of infrastructure to optimize resources, with the existence of a strategic plan. In the same way, we identified high correlations between Continuing Education Centers with administrative manuals and organizational structure, with an information system for user service. We provide a proposal for effective management in Continuing Education.
