Abstract

This research was conducted in an industrial company located in the City of Guadalupe, Zacatecas in Mexico. This city does not have a strong industrial sector; consequently, few people work in this activity. The objective of the research is to identify characteristics of workers present and degree of satisfaction they have with their company. An "ex profeso" questionnaire was applied to identify these types of conditions. The survey consisted of 23 members of the organization, achieving a response rate of 82%. Results show that workers are mostly satisfied with the work they do. They feel their immediate boss helps them improve working conditions. Some 66% of participants believe the boss takes them into account, 91% consider the relationships with colleagues as pleasant and 57% perceive the economic benefits they receive are adequate.
