Strategy of State Regulation of the Agroholdings' Social Responsibility

Abstract

The purpose of the article is to outline the problems resulting in the lack of development of the social responsibility institute in the agrarian sector and to substantiate the ways to resolve the same. It discloses the particulars of operation of agricultural holdings and the social responsibility policy pursued by them. It also determines the key directions of social responsibility of leading agricultural holdings of Ukraine and groups the objectives of the social responsibility policy of the business by internal (aimed at achievement of financial and economic and social and environmental benchmarks in order to create the attractive national innovative infrastructure of the agrarian sector) and external (necessity to position Ukraine in the international environment). It substantiates the implementation of contemporary approaches to interaction of the state, society and major agrarian business in view of the largest circle of interests of interested parties including co-workers, suppliers, creditors and the local and world community in order to ensure sustainable development of rural territories. It proposes the mechanism of implementation of measures to increase social responsibility specifying the ways and areas to activate regulatory, organizational, informational and financial measures of the state policy. In particular, the tool of the state regulation of social responsibility of agrarian holdings is developed.
