Der Arbeitsmarkt 1991 und 1992 in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland

Abstract

In dem Beitrag wird gezeigt, daß die Entwicklung des Arbeitsmarktes 1991 in West- und Ostdeutschland stark gegenläufig war. Während die Erwerbstätigkeit im Westen um 0,8 Mio. zunahm, sank sie im Osten um rund 1,6 Mio. Für 1992 wird in Westdeutschland mit einem langsameren Wirtschaftswachstum und einer geringeren Beschäftigungszunahme als 1991 gerechnet, so daß die Arbeitslosigkeit wieder etwas zunehmen wird. In Ostdeutschland werden 1992 wahrscheinlich weniger Arbeitsplätze wegfallen und mehr neue hinzukommen. Trotzdem wird erwartet, daß die Erwerbstätigkeit im Jahresmittel um gut 0,9 Mio. niedriger liegt als im Vorjahr. Durch Pendlerbewegungen und Abwanderung, dürfte das Arbeitsangebot ebenfalls weiter abnehmen. Die Arbeitslosigkeit wird trotz der Entlastung durch arbeitsmarktpolitische Maßnahmen der Bundesanstalt für Arbeit weiter zunehmen. (IAB)
