Berufstätigenerhebung und der Datenspeicher Gesellschaftliches Arbeitsvermögen : statistische Grundlagen zu wichtigen Strukturen der Erwerbstätigen in der vormaligen DDR

Abstract

Zur Beschreibung der Ausgangssituation des Arbeitsmarktes in den neuen Bundesländern stehen dem IAB zwei Datensätze zur Verfügung, nämlich die Berufstätigenerhebung von 1989, die Basis der amtlichen Statistik der DDR war, und der sogenannte Datenspeicher "Gesellschaftliches Arbeitsvermögen", eine eher sekundärstatistische Quelle. In dem Beitrag werden die Erhebungsverfahren, Merkmalsabgrenzungen und der Erfassungsumfang dieser Dateien beschrieben. Außerdem enthält er eine kurze Übersicht über die weiteren Bemühungen des IAB, aktuelle erwerbsstatistische Daten über die ehemalige DDR zu erhalten. (IAB2)
