Umfang saisonaler Arbeitslosigkeit in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland und Veränderung im Saisonmuster der Arbeitslosigkeit

Abstract

Im Rahmen einer Untersuchung über Ausmaß und Probleme der Saisonbeschäftigung wurde auch die Entwicklung der saisonalen Arbeitslosigkeit in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland beobachtet. "Wie eine aktuelle Neuberechnung zeigt, ist der Umfang saisonaler Arbeitslosigkeit langfristig rückläufig. Dies hängt in erster Linie mit der gewandelten Berufsstruktur der Arbeitslosen, in der saisonabhängige Außenberufe zunehmend an Gewicht verloren haben, zusammen. Weiterhin fällt auf, daß der Saisonausschlag aber auch konjunkturabhängig ist, und zwar in dem Sinne, daß der absolute Umfang der Saisonarbeitslosigkeit bei zunehmender Gesamtarbeitslosigkeit steigt, wobei allerdings keine Proportionalität erreicht wird. In neuester Zeit zeichnen sich hier Sonderentwicklungen ab, die weiterer Beobachtung bedürfen. (IAB2)
